PDF cut-stack and booklet imposition

Create a two-up PDF for cut-and-stack or folded booklet finishing with a page-order and blank-page plan.

Scope: Up to 30 MiB / 400 pages. Printer orientation requires a physical test; interactive forms are not retained as live controls.

Build a landscape, two-up PDF for one of two physical finishing methods. Files stay in this browser. Up to 30 MiB / 400 pages.

Cut-stack: print single-sided, landscape, actual size / 100%, one imposed page per sheet; keep the printed sheets in the listed order, cut the centre, stack the left pile above the right pile. Booklet: print landscape, 100%, duplex short-edge flip; keep sheets in order and fold at the centre. Turn off the printer's own booklet / multiple-pages mode. Verify front/back orientation on one sheet first. Driver and physical printer behavior is not guaranteed.

Pages fit proportionally inside 18 pt margins; original page rotation is applied. Booklets pad to a multiple of four with blank pages. Interactive annotations/forms are not reproduced as live controls; check the output before printing. Page-plan preview is logical, not a PDF rendering.

How to use

  1. Choose PDF or the 12-page sample.
  2. Select finishing method and paper size.
  3. Review the plan, download PDF and test one physical sheet.
