Duplex offset and feed-variation diagnostic
Compare repeated alignment measurements and download a diagnostic report or calibration PDF.
Scope: A measurement diagnostic, not printer repair. Random feed error may not be corrected by one offset.
Use at least three sheets from the same existing print batch. Look through each sheet from the FRONT: measure back-minus-front displacement, +X right and +Y down, in millimetres. Use the same crosshair position on each sheet.
The calibration PDF is optional: print at 100%, portrait, duplex long-edge, no scaling; verify its 100 mm line with a ruler. Use existing samples when possible. Translation cannot fix random feeding, rotation, scale or skew. A suggested correction uses this front-view frame; convert it if your editor uses a different axis or mirrored back-page view. No physical printer guarantee.
How to use
- Measure three or more sheets using the stated front-view coordinates.
- Enter X,Y offsets and acceptable radial error.
- Review the diagnosis and verify any compensation with a new print.
